Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of Terms

By creating an account on WooSingle ("Service"), you ("Member" or "you") agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use the Service.

These Terms constitute a legally binding agreement between you and WooSingle. We may modify these Terms at any time. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.

2. Eligibility

• You must be at least 21 years old
• You must be legally capable of entering into binding contracts
• You must not be prohibited from using the Service under applicable laws
• You must be a single individual seeking romantic connections
• You must have African diaspora heritage or be genuinely seeking connections within this community

By creating an account, you represent and warrant that you meet all eligibility requirements.

3. Account Registration

• One Account: You may maintain only one account. Multiple accounts will be terminated.
• Real Identity: You must provide accurate information and use real, recent photos of yourself.
• Verification: Identity verification may be required for live events and premium features.
• Security: You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials.
• Activity: You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account.

4. Membership Tiers & Features

WooSingle offers the following membership levels:

Free Tier

• Basic profile creation
• Limited daily likes (5/day)
• View mutual matches

Member - $29/month

• Unlimited likes
• Advanced filters
• Event access
• Read receipts

Premium - $79/month

• All Member features
• Live events & replays
• Video calls
• See who liked you
• Profile boost

Elite - $199/month

• All Premium features
• Concierge matchmaking
• VIP badge
• Priority support

5. Billing & Payments

• Payment Processor: All payments are processed securely through CCBill, our authorized payment processor.
• Billing Statement: Charges will appear as "CCBill*WooSingle" on your statement.
• Auto-Renewal: Subscriptions automatically renew at the end of each billing cycle unless canceled.
• Cancellation: You may cancel at any time via Account Settings or by contacting billing@woosingle.com. Cancellation prevents future charges but does not refund the current period.
• Price Changes: We will notify you 30 days before any price increase.
• Taxes: Prices exclude applicable sales tax, VAT, or GST, which will be added at checkout.

6. Refund Policy

Refunds are governed by our Refund Policy. Generally:

• Subscriptions are non-refundable
• Refunds may be granted for duplicate charges or technical errors
• Coins are non-refundable once purchased
• Members must manage renewals before the next billing date

7. Prohibited Activities

You may NOT:

• Use fake photos, misrepresent your identity, or catfish others
• Harass, stalk, threaten, or intimidate other members
• Send spam, solicit money, or engage in commercial activity
• Share explicit or pornographic content
• Use the Service for prostitution, escorting, or illegal activity
• Scrape, crawl, or collect data without permission
• Create multiple accounts or share your login
• Circumvent technical restrictions or security measures
• Post hateful, discriminatory, or violent content
• Impersonate others or create fake profiles

Violations may result in warnings, suspension, or permanent ban without refund.

8. Content & Conduct

• Your Content: You retain ownership of content you post (photos, messages, etc.).
• License: By posting content, you grant WooSingle a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to use, display, and distribute your content on the Service.
• Moderation: We reserve the right to remove content that violates these Terms or Community Guidelines.
• No Guarantee: We do not pre-screen content and are not responsible for user-generated content.

9. Termination

• By You: You may delete your account at any time via Account Settings.
• By Us: We may suspend or terminate your account for violating these Terms, engaging in fraudulent activity, or for any reason with 30 days' notice.
• No Refund: Termination for violation does not entitle you to a refund.
• Data Deletion: After termination, your data will be deleted per our Privacy Policy.

10. Intellectual Property

• WooSingle and all logos, trademarks, and content are owned by WooSingle or its licensors.
• You may not use our intellectual property without written permission.
• You may not reverse-engineer, decompile, or extract source code from the Service.

11. Disclaimer of Warranties

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND. WOOSINGLE DISCLAIMS ALL WARRANTIES, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING:

• Merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose
• Uninterrupted, secure, or error-free operation
• Accuracy of member profiles or identity verification
• Compatibility or success in forming relationships

You use the Service at your own risk. We are not responsible for interactions between members.

12. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, WOOSINGLE SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, INCLUDING LOST PROFITS, DATA LOSS, OR PERSONAL INJURY ARISING FROM:

• Your use or inability to use the Service
• Conduct or content of other members
• Unauthorized access to your account
• Errors, viruses, or technical issues

OUR TOTAL LIABILITY SHALL NOT EXCEED THE AMOUNT YOU PAID US IN THE PAST 12 MONTHS, OR $100, WHICHEVER IS LESS.

13. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless WooSingle, its officers, directors, employees, and agents from any claims, damages, or expenses (including legal fees) arising from:

• Your violation of these Terms
• Your content or conduct on the Service
• Your interactions with other members
• Your violation of any law or third-party rights

14. Dispute Resolution

Informal Resolution

Before filing a claim, you agree to contact us at legal@woosingle.com to attempt informal resolution.

Binding Arbitration

Any dispute that cannot be resolved informally shall be resolved through binding arbitration administered by the American Arbitration Association (AAA) under its Consumer Arbitration Rules.

• Arbitration will be conducted remotely unless in-person is required
• Each party pays their own costs
• Arbitrator's decision is final and binding
• Class actions, class arbitrations, and representative actions are prohibited

Small Claims Exception

You may bring an individual action in small claims court instead of arbitration.

Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of [Your State/Country], without regard to conflict of law principles.

15. General Provisions

• Entire Agreement: These Terms constitute the entire agreement between you and WooSingle.
• Severability: If any provision is found invalid, the remaining provisions remain in effect.
• No Waiver: Failure to enforce a right does not waive that right.
• Assignment: You may not transfer your account. We may assign our rights without notice.
• Force Majeure: We are not liable for delays caused by events beyond our control.
